Ruby is the birthstone for Leo
(July 23-August 22)
This captivating dark rose-red crystal is an intense crystal that best aligns with your heart, crown, and base chakra. It is considered the stone of the kings and queens.
Use this stone to protect the passion, love, and prosperity within your heart.
Ruby's intense energy will allow you to experience all forms of love. It promotes a sharpened mind with heightened concentration and awareness.
Do you struggle with nightmares? Ruby's are known to reduce the fear of nightmares, and shields your dreams, protects your home. Its resilient red color invites self- confidence and builds fearlessness.
We are always looking for natural healing, motivation, and balance. Ruby can charge your fuel in life for passion, confidence, laughter, and courage.
Not only does it have emotional healing properties, but it's known to detoxify the body. When you align Ruby with your chakra, you are detoxifying the body, blood, and lymphatic system. You can also stimulate circulation in the blood, resulting in lower cholesterol, reduction of blood clots, and blood pressure.
Feeling kind of under the weather or sluggish? Ruby can warm, restrengthen, and reenergize even the most sluggish aura. Ruby can treat infectious diseases and keep them away. (Definitely not a bad thing to carry around with your mask and hand sanitizer right now!)
Keep safe, and know that you are loved!
New Moon in Cancer
This week we are flowing with the energy of a beautiful new moon in Cancer. This becomes exact at 10:33 AM PT (1:33 PM ET) on July 20th in 28 degrees of Cancer. This is our second new moon of the summer season, with the first being a powerful solar eclipse in 0 degrees of Cancer right on the summer solstice!
The moon rules Cancer, and both are also the archetype of the mother in astrology. The Cancerian themes revolve around our home and family, the way we nurture and receive nurturing, self care and our feelings. Cancer is also a very nostalgic and sentimental sign, so you may find yourself feeling emotional about "the good old days" or past connections that you have good memories of. Just remember that new moons are about moving FORWARD, so try not to get too bogged down in the energy of the past.
Jupiter is sextiling Neptune, providing much harmonious support for the chart of this new moon. Jupiter-Neptune gives us the opportunity to expand our optimism and creative powers, while also opening up the realms of our imagination.
Saturn in Capricorn is exactly opposite the Cancer new moon. Saturn likes to remind us of our duties and responsibilities, letting us that there is still some work to be done-and that NOW is a good time to focus on this.
Chiron is retrograde in Aries, assisting us in rediscovering our true selves and asking us to look at what needs to be healed within us to allow this to occur.
Mercury went direct on July 12th. We are now moving through the post shadow period of Mercury retrograde, building up the momentum to spring forward and get into action!
However, we do still have 5 planets retrograde-so we are going to be feeling some conflicting energy between the push to move forward and the desire to take time to slow down, rest and focus on our inner world. The retrograde energy will be strongly in play throughout the remainder of 2020, with as many as 7 planets retrograde this fall. Be sure to allow plenty of time for yourself to replenish, review and redo wherever needed.
New moons are a time to set intentions and plant the seeds for your highest desires to manifest later on in the moon cycle. The best time to set intentions is within 48 hours after the new moon becomes exact. Avoid setting intentions when the moon is Void of Course. Please join me in my Facebook group, Awakening to Your Cosmic Design for this weekend's solar eclipse video where you will receive guidance on the best times to set your intentions,
Questions to reflect or journal upon:
~What is ONE thing I can do to nurture myself today?
~How am I choosing to reevaluate my life and rediscover my true self in 2020?
~What is showing up that is in need of healing for me right now?
I would LOVE to hear about how you are experiencing this powerful Cancer new moon energy! What is coming up for you to look at more closely this week? I invite you to reply and share your experience <3
